An early Rolex GMT-Master 1675 with pointed crown guards (PCG) and the correct Type 1 SCOC glossy gilt chapter-ring dial.
The dial retains strong gilt printing and an intact chapter ring, with warm aged tritium hour markers. The hands are period style and have aged to a broadly sympathetic colour.
The period-correct Rolex fat-font aluminium bezel insert has developed a particularly attractive tropical burgundy/brown fade, giving the watch a distinctive appearance.
Early pointed-crown-guard case with clearly legible 604,636 serial and 1675 reference engravings between the lugs. The case has been refinished during its life but retains good proportions and the characteristic early PCG profile.
A very attractive early 1675, combining a gilt chapter-ring dial, pointed crown guards and unusually coloured naturally aged bezel insert.
