An attractive Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 Double Red with the correct Mark IV matte dial, featuring the characteristic two lines of red Sea-Dweller/Submariner printing.

The dial is exceptionally clean with strong printing and even cream-coloured tritium hour markers. Tritium hands have aged to a sympathetic colour.

The period-correct Rolex fat-font aluminium bezel insert has developed a particularly attractive tropical burgundy/red-brown fade, retaining its aged luminous pearl.

Strong case with clearly legible 4,196,635 serial and 1665 reference engravings between the lugs. The case has been refinished during its life but retains substantial proportions. Correct period external caseback with Rolex Patent Oyster Gas Escape Valve engraving.

A particularly attractive Double Red, notable for the quality of its clean Mark IV dial, warm tritium and unusually coloured naturally aged bezel insert.
