Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 “Double Red” Mk IV — circa 1975/76

Serial 4,190,768. Later-production Double Red Sea-Dweller with correct Mk IV matte dial and two-line red “SEA-DWELLER / SUBMARINER 2000” printing. 

The dial is in notably good condition with warm, even tritium plots and no visible edge chipping or damage. Tritium hands, silver date disc, vintage fat-font bezel insert faded to an attractive brown/aubergine tone, and high-domed acrylic crystal. 

Correct external “ROLEX PATENT / OYSTER GAS ESCAPE VALVE” caseback, still carrying an old protective sticker. Substantial stainless-steel case with helium escape valve. Head only; no box or papers.

The watch has not been opened during our present assessment, so the movement and internal caseback numbering have not been inspected
