2998-1 Caramel Dial
One of the earliest 2998’s known. A beautiful caramel dial that has naturally aged. Lume plots are present and the watch reacts for radium.
The bezel is a DO90 which has replaced the original BASE1000. This is reflected in the price.
The case has seen some attention but is very good and better than most.
The pushers are service replacements, and the watch is in overall excellent mechanical condition.
The heart of the watch is the spectacular caramel dial which is hard to fault.

The original owner had lost the bezel, and I fitted a very good Dot over 90 bezel. It was serviced by Swiss Time Services on service no T37857 in 2015.
