A very rare example of a 2915-2.
The one has the oval “O” in Omega indicating an early dial. The dial has the short indices and the slight step. It has an attractive patination.
The hands appear to be radium, while the whole watch reacts for Radium.
The case is correct, and in great condition for the age and reference. The case back has SPEEDMASTER engraved on the bezel, though it is quite worn. There is no hippocampus, as they were not used until later.
The watch has just been serviced by Simon Freese, and comes on original bracelet and extract.
In my opinion the bezel is one of the older “German” reproductions. These were very well made and at the time were very difficult to spot. They were also very expensive indeed – You could buy a 145.012 for the same price at the time. Still, this is my opinion and I have priced the watch accordingly.
The bracelet is away for re springing and will be reunited with the watch prior to delivery.
