2998-62 Very Good
A very attractive, correct example
Slight Chocolate dial – this is the shade old school collectors value, a black dial with a hint of dark brown.
This watch carries earlier alpha subdial hands. As it came to me with these and they looked like they had been on the watch a very long time. The wisdom that these should be baton is received, and indeed I would expect them. However as alphas are rarer, more attractive, and easy to change, I have left them in situ.
If as the new owner, you wish them to be changed to baton, I will do it but I will keep the alphas!

When examined closely, this dial has minor marks and blemishes. These are not obvious in normal handling. These photos are super critical, and the colour overwhelms the eye in normal use. If thiese minor blemishes were not present I would value this watch double. Most people do not notice these marks until they put a loupe on. The case back has some opening marks.
